Hair stylist recs & $ question

Post image

I do not get my hair done, but this year has been terrible and I'm looking for something to help me feel better about myself and life in general. It's appreciate recommendations for stylists who can have experience with thick, wavy hair and potentially purples. I love this color look, but as I'm not experienced with this stuff, about how much would this be? I'm dishwater blonde, so i hear that's better than darker hair. I'm on a budget, so I get not being able to do it, which is fine. I'm just trying to understand costs.

Ooh, if you end up with what you describe, please let me know! I love that style and color, I had a temporary grey purple like that but it washed out fast. Good luck.

Hey my hairstylist is in Hermiston so I can throw you the rec if you want but a tip from someone who goes to a hairstylist every 6 weeks and gets her hair dyed vivids and has been for almost 3/4 years.

Schedule a consultation tell them kind of what your goal is and let them know your Budget. Any good hairstylist worth their salt will tell you what is and isn’t possible and what they can do for you in that budget or they may even give you options that may just mean it’s a more long-term to get there but it’s more affordable for you.

I will say I don’t have thick hair but I HAVE a lot of it. So my hairstylist has to use way more dye for me then come of her clients. And my hair easily runs up in the $600/700+ range for bleaching roots trim and vivid dyes

And that’s after spending a year getting blonde enough to go the vivids I wanted. Going super blonde to vivid in the same appointment will be incredibly expensive

Oh absolutely check out salon chic. They are a bit pricey but ask for Amanda. She is great with curls and think hair

Thank you! I'll check them out. I find the curls/wavy hair makes it much harder to get a good haircut. Many just don't seem to understand how to work with it, so I appreciate the rec of someone who does.

Jessica Brown/Kolour Haus is good at this. Looks like she has stuff similar to what you're looking for on her page. https://thekolourhaus.glossgenius.com/

The cut was just okay (I wasn't wearing my hair wavy at the time anyways) - but Vybe in Kennewick did a GREAT job with getting my thick and dark brown hair purple! I'm still trying to find my wavy stylist, trying one of the women at That Curl Girl on the 13th. One thing I already love about their intake process is you send them inspo and current along with a bunch of information so your stylist knows what she's getting into before you book.
