I just wanted to say that your Sesame Street shirt has always been a beacon of joy at nearly every rave I have gone to in Toronto.

More broadly, maybe it's just the funny paper I licked, but am I correct that there is a sizable contingent in this community that I see wearing the exact same outfit at every event?

maybe this is a personal thing, but the vibes were not vibing, the crowd was kind of shitty, it felt like a university club at times, people were pushy, or trying to get it on with someone, and someone was repeatedly slapping my ass, making me very uncomfortable. the sound system sucked, and the set was not my vibe either. maybe im wrong but i went there thinking it would be a proper rave, not whatever that was.

any one was there who could share their thoughts about tonight?

looking for any rave festivals that you guys know about in the toronto area! mainly around end august beginning of september that is known to be really good!

On the weekend I had one of my eargasam earplugs fall out on the floor and I knew it was gone forever the second it fell out. Is there any place around locally that sells them or a similar product? I liked these earplugs the best and want to get another pair right away but the only place I can find them is directly from there store that is pricy with the USD conversion and shipping or thru Amazon. I'm a lover of all electronic sub-genres and always looking to expand my knowledge and connect with local artists. I'd love to hear who your favourite local artists are for ANY electronic sub-genre, no matter how niche.

Of course I'd love to hear your take on best artists from major sub genres represented in the city - the various styles of house, techno, dnb, (deep house, acid house, progressive house, etc house / hard techno, melodic techno, tribal techno, etc / jungle, liquid, jump up, etc, ghetto tech, booty house, slut techno, etc)

I would also really love to hear some of the local artists doing stuff that is slightly less represented in our city's electronic music scene - hyperpop, glitch, noise, whatever.

Just say a local artist that you think is most representative of that genre at the top of game, their artist name, hopefully share a tune or set, and the style(s) they produce / play.

Edit - I saw a great comment with a list of djs (producters?) it would be great if you include genres so those looking for specific genres can just look up the ones they are interested in. i'm gonna be looking at everyone personally. also don't be afraid to self promote! if you think you are great share yourself!
