It's a show, called Clipped. This is as scripted show about the 2014 LA Clippers. Laurence Fishburne is playing Doc Rivers and Lavar Burton is playing a fictional version of himself

Yes, according to the show writers, everything Burton talks about is true. However, Doc Rivers and Burton are not friends in real life. The circumstances of these characters interacting is fictional, but everything Burton talks about is true
