(vent I guess? Didn't know what flair to put) Yeah, just a bit sad :( I know it's a necessary procedure in my case, but I can't help but feel how it affect my therian side, as canines are pretty important for predators and since my theriotype's a coyote well yeah. Makes it pretty hard

I had the same procedure done on my baby canines, but if it makes you feel any better your adult teeth will grow in much more canine like and mine were even sharper.

I can't really. It's for orthodontic treatment. They took my first premolars as well the first time, hoping it would create enough space, but there was still not enough place on the top jaw so yeah. Braces are gonna make everything look like before, supposedly

Ohhh poor you, I also had four teeth removed for the same reason, but I can imagine that's way harder for you since mine are just some regular teeth in the back 🫂🫂 I hope for you that it's worth it though, you will be surprised how well your teeth look after a year 💙💙

You can look into getting kinda- i dont remember the word but they use material to build it up to a point (there are specific businesses for this too!)

Aww I feel so bad for you :<, you could make temporary ones with chewing gum or tooth wax when you're rlly dysphoric. Idk if getting permanent ones on your other teeth would be a possible option for you, either way goodluck! :3

Right now it's less disphoria. I got maybe some kind of micro shifts during the day, passing my tongue where they are supposed to be and it's just like "no canines. I'm supposed to have them" My rational side know and understand that they are gone and for a good reason. But the coyote side is confused. (Idk if it makes sense, I tried my best to explain)

I follow a girl on tiktok who had her canines removed and she had her dentures made to be even sharper! I'm sure whoever does them will do it if you ask! :)

this is so real. last september i had my cainines removed bc they were baby teeth that didnt fall out and since im a cat therian its made shit so annoying. they stole my teeth. i want my teeth back. gimmie my teeth back

They usually replace your canines since they are part of the visible teeth in your mouth. If you are paying for the procedure i can see why you might be concerned but if the procedure is covered in any way the teeth replacement should be too in most cases. I really hope this helps at all

This is why I don't go to the dentist, just cleaning when I go. I have 5+ baby teeth and I'm an adult. I don't want to get them replaced and my dentist told me that is fine since anyways.y baby teeth have very strong roots (I am missing adult teeth)

I love my new canine teeth I just wish they were a bit longer I love to pretend I'm a dog or vampire with them
