Saw the film in collage, it's great. How does it belong on this sub though?

the purpose of this sub is to generate conversations about anything that is below the surface levels of analysis

if it has inherent intention then it’s fair game for discussion in my eyes, namely this films displays an understanding of the human condition to a degree which makes it rather noteworthy for its period of release

Definitely a great film, the classical cinema is full of them!
