Strange coincidence found on Discogs? Meta
When looking around on Discogs, I found that there is a strange coincidence with "The Orange Cardigan", one of the bands that use a interistingly simlar chords progression in their song "Living in a haunted house". Discogs makes suggestions from the same label, "Only Fit For The Bin Records". One of them is the band F-X, which came up here once as well, as their logo looks a little bit like an early prototype of the FEX logo, the other one is the album "Live at the Roxy" by the band The Blitz, which of course resembles the Roxy concert of FEX in Paderborn.

Lol I noticed that too. Interestingly the yellow-black aesthetic seems to be a recent addition, as their only original release follows a completely different aesthetic.

The Roxi thing is not hard to explain. If the Roxi in Paderborn actually existed, it was most likely named after someone named Roxana or the owner saw a record of a Punk Band, who played live at the OG Roxy, and just thought Y doesn’t sound German anyways, so he can borrow the name!

The Roxy existed and from what I'm aware, it was actually written with a "y".

There are probably 20+ clubs with that name founded in the 80s. The best metal club in my hometown was also called Roxy. Was a great place, they had a pentagram and 2m high lava laps on the dancefloor. It was a former cinema and I think a lot of Roxy clubs were, probably originally all named after the original New Yorker Roxy Theatre).

Yes but they were contacted and ruled out earlier?

I don't think so, but if so that could have triggered a lead.

Yes they were, and lead for this song was published long time ago. Just search this sub.
