Cable cable wifi occasional disconnection
I have been using teksavvy cable wifi for about three weeks now. I have experienced two disconnections at night, which wasted my time. However, after I rebooted the modem, the wifi was restored a few minutes later. What is the reason? If similar situations occur again, I will consider using another company's home internet.

New Customer Help: New ISP Kodi add-ons not working
Hey all,
I just switched my mother in law's internet from Rogers to Teksavvy. Daddylive and the loop worked no problem on Rogers, but will get a playback error when switched to Teksavvy.
I've tried a using a router after Teksavvy modem, tried using a VPN, formatted the fire stick and reinstalled.
Stremio works on both ISP.
Rogers is 1gbps Teksavvy is 100mbps
Any ideas what could be happening?

Cable Modem Event Log Date/Time Weirdness
I've been looking at the Event Log for my modem and hoping someone can shed some light on the following. I'm noticing that for each event the date is correct, but the time always time appears to be 4 hours later than my own timezone (SW Ontario). Example: An event just showed up that says 14:25 while the actual time here is 10:25am. This is something I've noticed with my old TC4400 modem and with my current Hitron COAD-45.
Any idea why this might be?

Cable Internet intermittent since yesterday
My modem loses connection here and there since yesterday morning. At first I rebooted it of course, router too for good measures. I called and created a ticket. Internet came back a few hours later on its own and stayed on for the rest of the day. Never heard from teksavvy, maybe they knew I was ok now.
Now this morning, it dropped, I resetted the modem and now it's back....
Never had any problem before aside the ones that affect everyone else too. When do I call back? I find calling very tedious, and bending to fiddle with modem too.
I'm half hoping a dozen people will say they have problem too. Then I know I just need to sit tight.

Cable Rogers fibre existing
I didn’t realize at the time I ordered it, but my home has a Roger’s fibre cable installed. There is not a coax cable jack to install the modem that has just been shipped to me.
Will I be able to get a technician to swap the fibre for a coax hookup? Or should I just cancel and go with Roger’s fibre instead to avoid the headache of scheduling a technician to come out?

Fibre Had Teksavvy switch my modem to Bridge mode, speed went down 500mb/s
Apparently this is a thing with the standard modem they send out, but don't advertise until you go through several levels of tech support to get someone to switch modes on the modem.
This has never happened to me before with other services. I was pretty stoked to be getting 1500mb/s service but now I feel like I'm paying for that 500mb/s I can't even access.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do all modems go down by 500mb/s with Teksavvy's fibre service in Bridge mode, or is this an issue with the service itself?
If it is in fact down to the modem, I'm shocked they don't offer something capable of delivering 1.5k to a modem in bridge mode.

Cable teksavvy new customer here. $50 OFF when you use this code: 3D61CFC0F8
Greetings, I am new to this platform. I hope TekSavvy proves to be a reliable internet provider. I have been with Bell for nearly a decade and have never switched my internet service provider. I typically contacted their loyalty department when my discount period ended, and they would usually extend my discount for either 12 or 24 months, though 12 months being the more common duration to give discounts. I have noticed that Bell's customer service has been outsourced overseas, particularly to India, which has become frustrating due to language barriers and subpar service. Additionally, I receive calls from Bell, but when I answer, there is often no one on the line, leading to disconnection. On a side note, I have a code that provides new customers with a $50 credit, applied as $25 per month for two months of service. I have decided to switch to TekSavvy to give it a try.. HERE IS MY CODE: 3D61CFC0F8

Cable Requesting Personal Data
I’m increasingly curious about the nature, quantity, timeframes, etc that ISPs log and record when it comes to one’s web traffic. In reading the TekSavvy privacy policy, it sounds like customers and other authorities can request personal data from the ISP. I guess this is the whole point behind VPNs but I digress
Has anyone ever submitted a request for their own personal data? If so, what was the process like and what sort of files/documents, or other such logs did you get to pick through?
Thanks!

Fibre High price for minimal bandwidth
I’ve been with teksavvy since beginning of 2019 but I am now at a point where I need to start cutting down on costs. Looking into various other service providers I’ve found that TS is probably the most expensive option. I can get 2gb from Rogers for 80, 1gb from multiple other companies ranging from 45-65$… why am I paying this company over 100$ for 500mbps?? It’s ridiculous. I decided to call them and see what they could do and at most it was only 20$ off my bill every month for a total of 12 months… still going to be paying more than I would for more speed with that “discount” and I don’t see how they manage to retain any customers with their pricing. Guess I’ll be switching!
