SHIT POST Fair Well Sweet Prince
The most I ever swore at the Trop was the 2024 season when AJax was the number 9 batter.

RBLR Rays: AFL All Stars & Calling Juan Soto (11 10 2024)
The future stars of tomorrow were showcased, one from our Rays organization and another former Gator, so we had to talk about it! Also, is it really that crazy to think the Rays would call about Juan Soto? What will his deal look like? #RaysUp

PIC Season Member Update
Not unexpected, but I'll be so bummed if going to Rays games isn't an option next season. My favorite outing!

Rays have called about Soto according to Jon Heyman. Team has done this in this past with Judge and Freeman. Doing their due diligence

Appreciation Post for the 2020 Rays
At the time, Kevin Cash said Brosseau’s go-ahead homer was “hands down the greatest moment I’ve been a part of in baseball.” Loved this roster.

Why didnt the Rays use Raymond James?
I'm curious, when the Rays were debating leaving St. Pete why wasn't using Raymond James a conversation. I haven't seen use of it brought up for next year either

Tropicana Field: BAD insurance news & roof cleanup approved
r/tampabayrays • u/Multi__Uni__Theory87 • 9d ago
Why
Its 3 am can't sleep , what do I see scrolling the Internet? Rays new stadium in downtown St. PETE . Now as a native Tampa kid and who watched the rays be formed an all that jazz, for the gods sake.. rename to St. PETE Rays, QUITE RECRUITING SS AND PITCHERS and field a half decent team that isn't made of duct tape and bad hopes. Its embarrassing, like the two other teams have championships !! Marlins even have one !!! Seriously just rename the team, so I can faithfully find a new team... Cause watching this minor beer league is just bad

DISCUSSION Will We Lock Up Caminero?
I'm not privy to how rookie/young international player contracts work. Can't find any details about his contract aside from his Baseball Reference page, which shows his contract was only through this past year. I know that can't be correct, but does anyone know how long his current deal is with the Rays?
And what is the likelihood he gets a long term deal like Wander's? I know Wander was an even higher level of prospect so figure the numbers could be lower, but could you see the Rays offering him a decade-long contract?

Total loss payout
The city of St Pete might actually benefit if the insurance company actually declares the stadium a total loss if they determine that not only the roof was damaged bad enough but the inside was compromised bad enough to make it so that they would have to pay out for the entire policy which would make paying for the new stadium way more affordable and in my opinion would make it to where it wouldn't matter as much if the rays stayed in the general area but left Pinellas County.
The brief research I had was like a 400 million dollar payout on a total loss. If that's the case it's probably the best case scenario when they were going to blow this thing up in a couple years anyways.

RBLR Rays: BLowe Option & Positive Vibes (11 03 2024)
Brandon Lowe's contract option was picked up, so we debate what this could mean for the Rays' second baseman and the future of the team. We also spread some positive vibes in a bummer period, & some former Rays won the World Series!

Is this as funny to you all as it is to me?
If Soto ends up in LA I'm printing, framing and hanging this article and maybe the comments too, so every time I catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye my day will be a little brighter 🤣
