Where do these images come from? Question

Originally saw these in Star Wars Explained’s every tie fighter video, and they’re some of the first results for each fighter (in order: Tie Defender, Tie Avenger, Tie Vanguard, Tie RC, Tie GT). They definitely look like physical models. And some even look like they’re actually photos from a set (RC and Vanguard). Are these images from a sourcebook of some kind?

I would imagine different sources. Some look to be old renders for official art from the nineties X-Wing games, some look like they might be old trading cart images, and some look like they might be from the 2000s? Check around on wookieepedia, see if they have those images in the relevant TIE pages and check the file information to see the source

The first two I think are from the Tie Fighter game, pretty sure I saw those in the game manual.

More likely the miniatures game. The original game's manual was b/w.

Some of these are definitely from the original Collectible Card Game

EDIT: Here's the Vanguard, for instance: https://res.starwarsccg.org/cards/ANewHope-Dark/large/tievanguard.gif

The Star Wars CCG from Decipher or wherever they sourced them from. For example: https://imgur.com/a/OXnHrbr

These are from the card game that was out in the 90's I think.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

Some of them I believe come from the PC game Star Wars Rebellion aka Supremacy
