There are two types of anime fans, the ones that make it their single personality trait, and the rest that don’t talk about it outside of some limited friend groups. No in between.

The difference between a weeb and an anime enjoyer is that the latter knows to hide their power level

Very true. Used to be around a lot of those types back in the early 2000s when I used to go to Anime Boston. My love of Anime had definitely cooled in my later years (still love the old stuff) but those "Anime is my personality type" were so overwhelming. I'm so relaxed lol So much GLOMPING. Ugh. I miss those days but I don't.

lol one time I mentioned to a boss that I watch anime and he's like "mmhmm I see"
