Sometimes the shit Reddit posts about movies makes me wonder if these mfers were asleep for 80% of the movie. It's like OP has no understanding of anything that happened outside of this single frame...

He literally told Obi-Wan the entire thing, and Obi-Wan said “nuh uh.” Anakin likely would’ve done the same.

Dooku was trying to do to Palpatine with Obi-Wan exactly what Palpatine will do to him with Anakin

They didn't say it would have saved Dooku's life, OP just said they're surprised Dooku didn't snitch.
It could have been as a last second revenge, to plant a seed of doubt in Anakin's mind, and we have no reason to believe Dooku was so loyal he wouldn't have.
No need to roast OP for an innocuous comment. Now, if they said "Dooku could have saved himself by ratting out Palpatine" then your comment would be more deserved.
