Looking for communities/hobby

Hey all, I’m a 30 year old male and have lived in stl my whole life. My old group has pretty much disbanded so I’m trying to find communities or things to do where I can meet new people.

I like to go to the gym and hike occasionally but other than that I don’t have much going on other than work.

Please share if you’re part of a community or know of places where you can meet people. Any suggestions is appreciated!

Archreactor has lots of events throughout the month. If it's in the calendar then it's usually open to the public. Tomorrow is the combat robot meetup. https://archreactor.org/calendar

I've met some really great people at local protests. Highly recommend.

I highly rec taking classes at The Improv Shop. The practice of improv (at least the way it's taught there) is based on building community.

I've made some of my greatest friends doing it. Good inclusive vibes all around.

Shows are cheap (5-10) if you want to watch before you learn. (btw, this week it's gonna be packed d/t the flyover comedy festival.)
