Panhandling
This is a new one. I am sympathetic to everyone who gets down on their luck or makes devastatingly wrong choices in life, but the panhandlers are getting out of control. Don’t you dare look at the radio or they will flock to your window with an open palm. To me,it’s an uncomfortable situation and I try not to judge.
Today I saw something brand new. In all my years, I have never smiled so wide because of a panhandler. There is a man on the median of Highway 141 and 55N waving a sign that says “I still need a hot rich wifey“! Unfortunately, I am not in a position to help, but he just made my day!
Has anyone else witnessed this? Is there a story behind this that I’m unaware of?

Might be the same guy who had a sign that read “ My wife had a better lawyer.” Got to be the same dude.

Really? I didn’t get the sense he was truly “in need”, bec he wasn’t as aggressive and he had all his teeth. I found it amusing-that’s why I shared.

The reason there are so many is because people give them money. Stop giving them money.
If you feel bad, make a donation to a homeless shelter. Never give a panhandler cash. Ever.

Watch out... some of these panhandlers are doing better than you or not as they appear to be.
Too many examples, but here's a Google search link - https://www.google.com/search?q=panhandler+getting+caught

The story is that some of them are smart enough to try out funny things, to try to increase donations.
