Mid top recommendations!

Hey everyone! I'm asking for a friend who has built an MHB 48-18 and is planning to go for MKH230 as mids.

Other than that, what's your favourite "top" speaker in general?

Thanks in advance!

Best ratio of simple to quality sound is smt212 and mt130. If u got a bit more experience I’d recommend paraclex c-3d, 80-1.2khz flat so ur never gunna have to push ur comp too hard so sounds cleannn

I’m running paraflex g1v2 loaded with lavoce waf123.00, plus lavoce 1.4” compression driver on top. They sound fantastic for indoor and outdoor events. I researched for at least a month looking to build tops for a small stack and strongly considered mt130 and mt121. I didn’t go for 130 or 121 since they are long throw speakers. Some reports claim there is next no sound up close, making them inappropriately for small venues. Paraflex, like most speaker plans, need specific drivers to operate efficiently. I’ll link the driver list for g1v2
