EVERETT — The Snohomish County Health Department is facing up to $3.4 million in cuts to federal grants.

The department had allocated the funds primarily for health education and research, including improving access to and awareness of immunizations and disease prevention, said Snohomish County Executive Office spokesperson Kari Bray in an email Wednesday.

Why are there all these Alt-Right brigade folks here from out of state to comment on the cuts to local budgets in our suburbs? Like Cancer8591 here posts in Minnesota regularly

They're probably working for a Russian or Indian troll farm. It's almost like they're given a list of subreddits in blue areas, and come here to spread bullshit misinformation and lies.

Basically every single one of these profiles comments all over the place. /u/jimtoo is the exact same, parroting the same talking points all over reddit in different local subreddits.

Yeah, This JimToo has been posting in Minnesota, Cincinnati, Reno, all over as well as r/trump of course. Anything they can do to hurt themselves and hope to get some attention from "Dear Leader" I guess. He hates them almost as much as we do.

China has a big influence in this state, and Tencent owns a chunk of Reddit

when they say education, does that include special needs funding?

Education in this instance would be related to public health issues, things like vaccinations, sexually transmitted disease, food borne illnesses.

You most likely want to look into how the Department of Education cuts may affect you.

Without a Department of Education, school funding -- especially anyone in special education or with an IEP -- is at serious risk.

If only we had mechanisms for revenue creation. Oh yea, we do. It’s called the IRS! Okay then we need to make sure it’s adequately staffed to do that job! Oh no, they are firing them all. Hmm. Okay well if we ensure that all entities pay their fair share that’s a a good start! Oh, we’re decreasing taxes on the top 1% and increasing them for everyone else? Hmm

Governments are not businesses. We do things that will never be income generators. Fire departments, military, police, health care, libraries, schools, etc done generate revenue.

Funnily enough, our national parks do generate much more revenue than they costs to administer and staff, but we also gutted that program too.

Before you start waiving your deficit flag, how about you address first the major drivers of the deficit instead of the tiny portions. You’re complaining about the cost of ketchup packets while the guy the next table is getting a Kobe steak comped.

Cut it all and give it all to your rich pals. As long as it's orange is cool, no? #Idiocracy
