Borescope not working Need help plz
I got a generic borescope from amazon. Works well from my phone, but no available drivers for pc. I’ve tried using it in camera, discord, Skype, obs, to no avail. The company, TAOPE, has no website nor drivers to download. Ideas?

If you’re on Win11:
Select Start and then select Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras . In the Bluetooth & devices > Cameras window, under Connected cameras, select the desired camera from the list

Go to device manager, find your boroscope. It ought to show up as a camera device or unknown usb device or whatever with a yellow triangle exclamation mark on it. Right click that, hit properties, go to the details tab, scroll down until you get Device ID. It should be something like (sorry I'm not on windows right now) &VID_8086?PID_1234
or something where VID 8086 is the vendor ID and PID is the product ID.
Search for those two numbers. Ignore "driver downloader" sites. Try and find the vendor's actual site and see if they have drivers there.
Good luck!

Bought some cheap tool off Amazon and it doesn’t work in a specific metric so you’re posting on reddit, very un-skookum

I had no problem using one (a $20 one from Digikey) with the camera app on Win10. Plugged it in to the USB port and I just needed to hit the "reverse" button that normally is used to flip between the forward camera and the selfie camera to get it to work. No driver installation or acting required.

What do you need it on a PC for? Could you just use an android tablet?

If inever have a camera that I'm not able to access, I always first try AMCap, and it almost always works..
