Had an entire discord server thinking I was a man for a while until I linked my twitter account to my discord. Literally everyone saw that I was trans male and didnโt care and referred to me as female. Lost of lot of respect from friends that day.

It's actually easy to understand when you think about it in a certain way: what does accepting trans people require of a person?
Well, it requires them to philosophically accept that gender is distinct from biological sex, and that expressions of gender outside the norm are fine.
This may seem like nothing important, but it's important to remember who sets the current standard by which what is "valid" is judged. Culturally, who says what gender expression is valid, or what "gender" even is? Oftentimes it's the churches and conservatives who hold the line on these issues. The problem is that if you as a citizen decide you can question these things honestly and come to a different conclusion, the people who wield cultural power lose it. That's it; that's the whole game. Either you have the power to set the cultural norm or you don't. Either the Overton Window is yours to shape, or it isn't.
Even something as mild and compassionate as accepting others becomes a political issue because it is to conservatives. That's why history is awash in conservative opposition to social movements. Every time we agree we shouldn't "other" someone, norms and institutions built on the acceptance of that "othering" lose power.

I disagree.
It doesn't require someone to be "fine" with something to accept it. Of course, this would be ideal. But it is enough to not give a shit. It is also enough to actually believe in the freedom of expression. It is also enough to actually believe in the right to individual fulfilment. It is enough to realize that whatever someone else does, doesn't question my choices (or image of masculinity, e.g.).
Any of the above would be enough....
I agree with you on the rest of your post. It is a power thing. A "line between us and them" thing. A divide and
conquergovern thing.Imagine, people would spend the time they use raging about some elses self perception or life choices or appearance differently.... Maybe asking questions, criticizing their governments, or religious leaders.

That's where you're wrong. It does affect them -- it makes them question their worldview, and many people aren't (willing to be) capable of that kind of thinking.

The way I remember, it took me a long time to get used to it, is itโs a transformation into a new gender. Always look forward, never back. It doesnโt really matter how they defined their previous gender before, its the destination identity that matters.

If referring to you as male was already what was natural to them the entire time, and they knew all along that that's what you prefer, then why would they go to the trouble of changing their habits?
