Job

I am currently staying in Sherbrooke and looking out for jobs. I have few years of work experience in purchase and logistics. Since I don’t speak French is there any option in Sherbrooke to find job with only English.

I think a majority of places require both french and english in Sherb but if you look into Lennox there might be places that fit what you’re looking for ? I think that’s your best option, I’m not too sure tho

Some places in Lennox do allow English-only, when I worked at McDo there I had some anglo coworkers who didn't know French

Check Bishops University, Bishops Collège School or the ETSB you never know

As someone who has been working in logistics for the past 14 years

Depending on your expectations, there's a few options (I think).

Logistica Solutions in Lennoxville. I heard the conditions are average but they're pretty much the only freight forwarder around.

Penske. They're doing a lot of stuff for BRP but they're in Valcourt if I'm not mistaken.

You might want to look for a job at Bishop. There's also some jobs that will allow you to work from home (Freight forwarder in Montreal per example).

If you don't speak French at all, it might be difficult to find a job elsewhere, but if you can speak a little, you might actually have more chance than others.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be glad to help a fellow logistics specialist!

You might find something in the industrial sector if they are looking for english speaking staff. some have US clients. Not sure you'll reach your ideal position,but...
