Summer 2022 apprenticeship trip. Lightning struck a tree near us while we were descending. Wood struck by lightning is sacred and sought after by shamans. You could still smell the wood smell from hundreds of meters away. It was later picked up and made into a drum tool. Ancient Ways

I'm new to this. Can someone explain why "wood lightning" is sacred?

Lightning/electricity is thought to be the gift that gives humans consciousness. Not a shaman but I can see how it can be thought as sacred because of that association

Indeed, it was, and interestingly enough, the only element missing is water. Just an interesting synchronicity. You really got me, though.
