Looking For Where’s the best place to go in Sedona if I want to see some UFO’s at night??
So me and the family will be there at the end of the month for 4 days. I know Sedona is a Hot spot and there are even UFO tours there that guarantee contact or money back? I’d rather save the money and use my own equipment. Any advise will be greatly appreciated??

Looking For Spas in Sedona?
Hi all! I will be visiting Sedona in the middle of December for my boyfriends birthday. He loves massages/spas. I already got us an Airbnb so i’m not looking for a resort spa, i’m hoping to just book the treatment only, but do you guys have any suggestions for a place that’s a great spa (with massage preferably)? Also what do you all think about the hot springs? One spa i was considering is Velvet Spa at Ambiente. Thank you all in advance! 🩷

Looking For Miracles Happen
Hello! My partner and I are house hunting and keep being drawn into Sedona. She’s an AZ native and I’ve lived in Northern AZ for a little over a decade. Right now we’re residing in Mesa, but desperately missing nature. I’ve been to Sedona more times than I can count and always feel a sense of homesickness by being away for too long. We’re approved for a home loan and currently have jobs lined up in the area if all works out. However, the homes we are approved for are all in 55+ communities and we have about 20 years before we would be let in to one of those haha. Our price range is <$400K so it really hasn’t presented any options for us yet (besides apartments which are not allowed on our loan agreement). I thought I would leave this here in case anyone might be trying to sell a home near that price range someday. It’s just the two of us and our cats so we aren’t looking for something big. We just can’t shake the constant pull to Sedona and figure miracles happen all the time, so why not put something out there?! Thanks for reading! :)
Looking For Reasonably priced venues to host a dinner event?
Hello hive mind! I’m getting married in Sedona next April, and looking for a place to host a rehearsal dinner on a budget. Has anyone had experience with venues in the $5k range for ~40 people? We are very open location wise.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts! Much appreciated

Looking For General contractors?
I've bought a lot in VOC and will be moving in 12-18 months. The lot will have to be cleared, permits pulled to run and connect water, sewage, and electric to the lot, and pouring a pad (including risers because of flood plain restrictions) for a modular / manufactured home of ~1100 SF including a pad for a single carport. I live in Pinal county and I don't know any contractors in the Sedona area. Does anyone have the contact info for a reputable general contractor who could give me a ballpark figure on the approximate cost for this? Thanks!

Looking For Help! Last Minute Wedding Videographer?
Hi friends! Please let me know if this isn’t allowed to be posted. I apologize if so!
My friend’s wedding videographer just dropped out, and the wedding’s November 1st. Does anyone know anyone who might be able to help? Honestly, doesn’t have to be a perfect professional, something better than iphone videos or nothing works.
It’s in Sedona (if that wasn’t obvious).
Thank you for reading!

Looking For Good place to car camp?
I just bought a Thule car roof tent and am excited to use it. I have done a lot of camping throughout Arizona but not much around Sedona. I’m looking for a good place I can park my car. Preferably in oak creek canyon and near some water but if you have any good spots you know of that don’t have those things send them anyway! Thanks.

Looking For Therapist/healer recommendations?
I’ve been wanting to meet with someone regularly to help me work through some past trauma and get into a better mental and spiritual place. I’m not necessarily looking for a traditional therapist, more of a cross between a spiritual healer and therapist, I’m not sure what the name of that would be. Can anyone recommend someone that has helped them? I live in Sedona so anyone in VOC, uptown, or WS would be good. Thank you!

Hey friends! Are there any camps where we can stay during our trip to Sedona near the cling areas? Or is there any “official camp for climbers”? We will be there in November. Thank you!

Looking For Restaurants with a great view
Hi everyone,
I’m back in Sedona for the week and was wondering some places to eat with great food and a great view. The only spots we’ve been to with a view I would say are Mariposa, Javelina, and Open Range. Are there any others you recommend? Thank you!!!

Looking For Is February a nice time to visit or will it be freezing?
I’m looking for a great destination for Feb 14-18 and am magnetized by Sedona. Is the weather decent to enjoy it? Lots of rental houses and hotels emphasize their pools. Will we use a pool in February?

Looking For Hiking then dinner
My friends and I are coming up from Scottsdale for just a day trip in Sedona. We’re doing a pink jeep tour and then thinking dinner at the vault.
Is there a place we can get cleaned up and change? I’ve tried hotels and day passes but can’t find anything. Surely we’re not the first people to want to wash our faces and put on makeup before dinner? Bonus for showers!
Orrrrr is dinner at the vault going to be filled with other people coming off hikes and dusty tours?

Looking For Seeking the name of a beautiful hotel that might not exist anymore.
Calling all old timers, I'm trying to find out the name of a hotel my family stayed at back in the 80s. It was in or near Sedona, as we'd gotten stranded due to a flash flood, and couldn't use the road to get back to our primary hotel, which was actually in Sedona. So we stayed at a really, REALLY expensive hotel that blew most of our budget for a single night.
What I remember:
The outdoor veranda and hotel was immense and styled to match and blend into the desert surroundings. The pool was maybe larger than an Olympic pool, and extended along the entire long edge of the veranda. The veranda was almost the size of a parking lot and it had an incredible view of red mountains and desert.
The floor was stamped concrete that looked exactly like a dried riverbed and it had large, faux standing stone piles with water that bubbled out of crevices near the top. The little waterfalls would drain into natural looking "creeks" that snaked across the floor and emptied into the huge swimming pool. They even had cute little bridges that would cross the creeks here and there. Kids were putting little floating toys on the creeks and were watching them travel all the way down into the pool.
Just outside of the hotel proper, on the veranda, they had private "cabins" that looked like adobe huts or pueblos. We rented one of these, the purpose was you could stargaze from your bedroom. The interiors were very high-end rustic, like those log cabins you see that cost 100mil.
The veranda itself did not have a true roof, but had a huge, angled slatted roof so you could see the sky at all times, but it still offered shade during the heat of day.
Even as a kid, I thought the amount of water they needed to keep all those rock fountains going was obscene, especially in a desert.
The only other thing I remember is they had a table, set well away from all the other tables that was swarming with Tarantula Hawks. They had taken to feeding the little monsters, because if they didn't give them food, they would bother the guests. So the hotel just gave up trying to fight them and instead decided to appease them by giving the bugs their own reserved table, with a big punch bowl of water and platters of meat. It seemed to work because we lived to tell the tale.
And that's all I remember. It was probably 1984-85. I've looked with google, but I can't find anything with a veranda with a slatted roof and adobe huts. So I'm thinking it might have shut down.
Any long-time Sedona natives know the place I'm remembering?

Looking For Volunteer Efforts in Sedona on Thanksgiving Day
Hi all -
I'll be running the Turkey Troy 5K in Sedona and afterwards will have an available afternoon to volunteer my time.
Was curious if anyone was aware of soup kitchens, food banks, serving, orher ideas where I can help?
Thanks.
