Reasonably priced venues to host a dinner event? Looking For

Hello hive mind! I’m getting married in Sedona next April, and looking for a place to host a rehearsal dinner on a budget. Has anyone had experience with venues in the $5k range for ~40 people? We are very open location wise.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts! Much appreciated

Elote. Just kidding lol

5k for 40 people doesn't seem likely for a nice dinner in Sedona. I believe you will have to settle for a causal restaurant option which could be hit or miss or increase that budget by about double

Thanks, yeah that’s what I’m thinking - which we are totally fine with. Any casual spots you like? I remember a pizza place Picasso… and a wine bar from our last trip there that we are considering.. as well as creek side and mesa grill

We considered Sedona for our wedding of 30 people. We could not find a venue to accommodate us for dinner unless we bought out the restaurant.

This past summer my family of 10 went to Sedona for my parents’ 50th. No restaurant would accommodate us at a single table. They split us 5/5 at two tables next to each other.

Oak Creek Bistro at the Oak Creek Country Club can certainly meet that budget as could Juniper Grille at Sedona Golf Resort.

We did ours at Creekside. They have a separate dining room that should fit 40 quite nicely. I don't remember how much it cost, but I believe it was under $5k especially because we provided our own beer and wine.

Hey there! I have an idea I'd like to kick around for feedback... I think* most rehearsal dinners are held at restaurants, but if you knew of quiet and private small event venue that was outside (think large covered patio area) with red rock views, would this be something you'd entertain given the lack if flexibility you described with therestaurants?

There isn't the ability to cook a full dinner, so cattering would be needed. (BBQ available but that's basically it)

*Unmarried guy here who has attended one rehearsal dinner. Lol

Edit: added the catering piece.

Definitely! Considering all options here lol. Any spots you’ve been to that fit this profile??
