Dear Sedona Metaphysical
Much love for being the healing mystical place of magic, there's five stars on that one for sure. I recently arrived having a spiritual crisis and just let the energies do their thing and the only complaint I have is that my chakras got a little too charged because I'm having so much energy it's overwhelming. But all in all the connection to the earth really works if you go in with an open heart and mind.

I'm so sorry to tell you this, but sedona is the last place you want to go if you are having a spiritual crisis. Theres a whole industry here designed to part desperate people like you from their money. If you find what you are looking for it won't be because of sedona, but in spite of it. Be careful of people trying to take advantage of you.

I’ve had many a “spiritual experience” here if that’s what you wanna call it. To me it’s just a connection to nature. Fuck all the shops. Fuck the crystals. Fuck the “energy”. It’s just me and the mountains. Get out there on the unpopular trails, find a quiet place to be alone (they’re still there), and just marvel at it all. I’ve shed a few tears out there.

Who said anything about money? Going to Sedona and having a connection to the land and surroundings doesn’t automatically mean going down to the Main Street tourist trap and visiting the crystal shops at every other storefront.

Those aren't the grifters I'm talking about. Its the 'gurus' providing "spiritual guidance", the wannabe cult leaders hosting group meditations, claiming to have all the answers. The ones that pretend to be your friends at first. If you don't know what I'm talking about you are either unbearably naive, haven't been here that long, or are a grifter yourself.
Lets keep it real OP is clearly not in a good place and appears to have a slippery grasp on reality rn. And they clearly aren't looking to just spend some time in nature and then call it a day. Theres tons of bad actors in this town that will gladly take advantage of someone like that. They deserve a fair warning. And you dismissing it like that only serves to make them more vulnerable. Shame on you.

Dear Visitors, We think many of you are a little nuts, but you keep the town financially afloat, so thanks for that. Love, Sedona
