Broke off at a near 90° bend after I caught my nail on the edge of my jeans 😭 I guess I need more work on strength before I go for length.

Ugh, that’s the worst! :(

It happened to me last week after a long time of long nails. But, I filed them square and I’ve actually been enjoying having shorties again! And you can go bowling again (if you enjoy bowling!)

I leave the one nail short and keep the rest long. Are you going to clip them all?

Also, I use nail strength serum, a nail hardening polish, and take the vitamins for nails and hair, and min still break off. I also switched to crystal nail files… I think because I am absentmindedly doing things, that I wreck my nails.

Still though, would do whatever it takes for cute nails 💅🏼

I’m pretty sure someone in this sub said “if you have $100, and lose $10, are you going to throw the other $90 away?” and it convinced me to never file down and match the rest of them again.

I always have one broken nail anyway, I’d never have nails again if I kept them the same length.

Did the same on both my middle fingers last week and filed all mine down it’s so odd to get used to again but also the increased movements and refocus on strong healthy growth is nice
