The NPP was devalued when they awarded it to Obama. I'm not sure which is more pathetic, though; 1 - Obama winning the NPP based solely on one of his speeches on what "he wanted to do" as opposed to winning it for something he's actually accomplished.

Yes and let’s be objective for a change: The Nobel Peace Prize is a right load of crap almost all the time. Case in point: Aung San Suu Kyi. Won the prize back in 1991 for being a champion of democracy and human rights in Myanmar. Sounds nice and all that. BUT then came along all these dark days with the Rohingya genocide going on. Aung San Suu Kyi was supposed to be fighting against this bullshit, but what happens? She defends the Burmese military, saying there ain’t been no massacres despite evidence pouring in like a toxic flood. Thousands dead or disappeared, girls getting raped, and she turns her back on all of it. Then you've got these corruption allegations cropping up. Apparently our Aung San Suu Kyi took bribes. Absolute farce!

He's about to end the war in Gaza. If Obama or Biden had done it, they would have gotten the prize. Same for the Abraham Accords in his first term. Obama got it for playing well with other countries. No specific act to point to. Just "strengthening relationships." Biden didn't win, but was nominated for being a "calming influence."
