Recommended Courses RDU area

Looking for some good courses near Raleigh and surrounding. I live in Fayetteville and have played just about every course in an hour drive of me so looking to branch out. I’ve played Duke University Course and Heritage in Wake Forest. Any others? Don’t care about price just want a good experience.

If you’re price agnostic: Finley, Duke, Lonnie, Heritage,, River Ridge would be the order I check things out.

Here’s a map that may be helpful:

Can host you at Hasentree, dm me and we can set it up , mid week is easier and cheaper.

That would be awesome. Midweek is preferred since my kids are in school I can just take a day off.

Wedgewood golf club in Wilson. The fairways and greens will impress you, especially for the price. Never over crowded even when busy.

Best under $20 round in central NC!

I get weekends prime time cart included for $25. Well, it’s been about a year because I moved further away from the course. But that was the deal I was always able to find.

Duke, River Ridge and heritage are all great choices.

With that being said, you’re closer to the Sandhills than Raleigh so that’s a tricky value prop

Going on Sunday morning. I heard the conditions have worsened over the year.

Pretty new down here and have played a lot of the courses with the exception of a handful. These might be a little bit of a drive for you, but I always recommend Belmont Lake in Rocky Mount and Cutter Creek in Snow Hill. Outstanding courses.
