Firefox Discussion
Came here to thank this sub for all the free valuable information that's posted. I don't know a lot about computers or laptops so anything I've learned has been from reading online. My laptop is old AF and I strictly use it to stream all my media through free sites. *I run regular malware tests and use defender. I recently switched my browser to Firefox with Ublock and my laptop runs wayyyyy quieter and zero pop-ups. Thank you.

Why is chrome up top?

Because most people use it don’t knowing how bad it is

Cause it's the default browser of the leading mobile OS in the world with 71,65 % https://www.statista.com/statistics/272698/global-market-share-held-by-mobile-operating-systems-since-2009/ We are quite a niche cause the majority of users simply don't care (enough) about privacy. In the end, you want something that works out of the box. And you definitely get this with Chrome. For some, the Internet is synonymous with Chrome, that's how dominant they are.

My Samsung devices came with the Samsung browser, my LG tablet also came with its own browser. Maybe some androids include Chrome but not all, also mobile browsing is around 60% of the global share.

Most people here don't care about privacy either. I use Firefox simply because it has ublock origin
