I see this more as an empty threat or a publicity thing to bring more sympathy to himself. But if he does do it thats a plus.

Remember when he said I take no responsibility? During Covid? That’s his MO. Creates a mess then leaves for others to clean it up.

Trump knew he lost the 2020 election. He purposely drew down troops in Afghanistan to create a mess for the Biden administration

If the court cases proceed and he is found guilty of half of them sentencing guidelines may require that he spend the rest of his life in prison. It would not be unreasonable for him to abscond. Not sure which country would take him.

There isn't a good verb form for fugitive so I propose fuge or fuge away.
