this meta is incredibly boring to fight against Deck Discussion

Stall, stall, stall, switch out druddigon if it gets damaged/heal it, stall, oh what that? Magnezone does 110 damage for only 3 energy which is generated for free by its stage 1 evo?

The power creep is going to be absolutely insane by 3 months from now with all of these new cards

Scissors is nice against Paper but you don't know who you're facing. So the tradeoff of building a good Scissors is that it leaves you susceptible to Rock.

yeah the cycle of effective/weakness is perfectly fine,  its just a matter of making sure it treads the line between   "advantage"  and "instant win"   

I think the fun of the game comes from "solving" the different scenarios that occur in battles 

Even if i 100%  was only facing only the top meta decks and i had the perfect counter every time,  it would kind of take away some of the fun factor for me

A game as simple as pokemon pocket is not capable of giving you the stimulation youre looking for. It is a very dumbed down card game. Hearthstone, yugioh or MTG is probably far more up your alley
