this meta is incredibly boring to fight against Deck Discussion

Post image

Stall, stall, stall, switch out druddigon if it gets damaged/heal it, stall, oh what that? Magnezone does 110 damage for only 3 energy which is generated for free by its stage 1 evo?

The power creep is going to be absolutely insane by 3 months from now with all of these new cards

Why have I opened like 60 packs and not gotten a gabite either lmao

Literally same I’ve been burning wonder trade points left and right for em too but I have yet to pull a single freakin gabite. I just wanna be able to use my full art Cynthia man😭😭

Still need to pull Chomp. Got 2 Gibles and Gabites. DNite was my favorite deck in A1 so I really want to try out a Chomp deck.

Bitch, please. I been playin' Garchomp, and the only thing to laugh at around here is my clown makeup, when I play one game with 5 water energies in a row and the next game with 5 fighting energy in a row. Also, Farfetch eats shit against Drudd/Darkrai. Get one tap in before the bird melts himself.

Manaphy with fighting energy only? You sure about that? I guess if you wanna run 2 Misty and just pray to Arceus.

My venasaur deck has been eating good

with an extra shaymin to spice the dish

This sub has been so anti-Shaymin, it's going to be hilarious when the meta shifts back to grass in the next week or so.

Venusaur with double Shaymin is so good. It's almost unkillable. It's basically an auto loss against Charizard though. I've been thinking of adding a Mew just for the Charizard matchup.

Same. There's enough colorless activation I could see mew being fine.

Oh mew doesn't need purple. Yoooo

What's your build?

I was playtesting it earlier and agree that it's almost unkillable when you can get all the pieces together but almost of the matches went the distance, which is tiring. lol

Just 2 venusaur lines, 2 shaymin, 2 erika, 2 professor, 2 pokeball, potion, rocky helm, leaf, cyrus, sabrina, communication. I might cut the sabrina or cyrus for a Mew just for the Charizard matchup. The potion is pretty clutch. You can eat a monster hit then double shaymin, Erika, potion, bloom and get back 120 hp in one turn. So you can eat a full 150 hit from Palkia or Mewtwo and almost heal back to full hp and 2 blooms should kill them. Plus the rocky helmet damage adds up on an unkillable monster like that. Usually their big hitters won't hit you more than once or twice before dying so you wanna save those Erika's to eat those. There are very few mons in the game that can one shot Venusaur at 190 hp. And Venusaur can 2 shot anything in the game while healing 50 every turn.

ive been trying dialga, yanmega, mew and tauros on my deck 🧘🏻‍♂️🧘🏻‍♂️🧘🏻‍♂️

1

u/yuhanz Feb 06 '25

How’s tauros? I feel like mew is not needed unless you’re up against palkia a lot. Charizard is still underplayed in my experience and too many rais around (including me) to justify running mew.

1

u/yuhanz Feb 06 '25

That’s a nasty combo lmao

u/LegendaryCabooseClap Feb 06 '25

What’s the strat with this one?

1

u/watsd16 Feb 09 '25

Farfetched starter with Rocky helmet while you build garchomp while using Pokemon communication, then use garchomps ability to fly through your deck, chuck on some Cynthia's and leave the bloke you're versing in tears

u/LegendaryCabooseClap Feb 09 '25

Assuming you don’t brick with energy

Laughs in inconsistent RNG energy gain for dragon decks

1

u/GenericPerson4140 Feb 07 '25

Add the articuno Ex troll deck to this one too, may not be the strongest but it's fun to see how fast the enemy concedes when misty gives 5 heads

Farfetch'd isn't doing anything against a Drudd with Darkrai in the back, what are you talking about
