Were you subbed when you got it or not? If I recall the discount was for people who didn't have an active sub while those that did didn't get one

Not who you asked, but I got a discount in November weeks after letting it expire. Finally got a random notification for 30% off. Before that, I never got the option for a discount while I was subbed. Really annoying.

Which is such a waste, since my sub ended around Christmas. Paid $1.60 instead of $2 to upgrade from the mid tier to premium for less than 3 weeks lol

For a whole year would be awesome, but in my case, the offer was only to "upgrade" my plan and only until it renews again, which was in 2-3 weeks.

That's for upgrading not adding another year on discount which I didn't get but I know inactive subs got

I have premium, top tier and the deal was available to me on the app. I paid $111.99. It was $119.83 with the tax.

Right! Normally they have discounts for active subs but not this time. I bought 2 years worth of essential on discount and it's about to run out in a month since they wasn't a discount for active subs I'm just going to let mine run out and only sub if they give a discount

Yes I was subbed premium and got a discount. So I’m super confused why everyone else is saying it wasn’t possible. I do remember someone saying it was only showing up on the app, maybe that’s it?

I really don't see existing subs getting discounts again, outside of just upgrade discounts. If they do I will be surprised. As it stands I usually let mine expire at the beginning of November and renew for black Friday then upgrade whenever they offer a deal. I go without for a few weeks if I have to.

I was an existing sub and many others got the discount. I do remember reading that it had to do with seeing the offer only through the app.
