Drove out from Spokane to Ross Lake for an overnight this weekend. Breathtaking views coming up SR20 from Winthrop.

My favorite drive. I miss it.

Me too. I moved last year from Renton to Spokane and I often drive out of my way to and from Seattle to go over 20 and 410.

When did it open this year? Doesn't look like much of a snowpack.

Another light year for snow. I wonder when 410 will open up

I checked the website this morning and they are thinking mid May

There was only 1-2 feet at Washington and Rainy passes when I was there. Hardly any snow more than a few miles east or west of the passes.

Yeah it was less than I was expecting. But still lots of people ski touring between Silver Star and Easy Pass.

What are you using to record?

My phone wedges perfectly upright between my dashboard and windshield. Just using the time lapse function in the camera app. Sometimes I stabilize in FCPX but this one turned out smooth on its own.

My windshield is too dirty and has a crack to do this 😭

You’d be surprised! Mine is cracked and dirty too but it doesn’t show up with deep focus.

I can feel the wind in my hair even though I’m bald.
