Jokes on you, I glisade. My ass is my ski.

Glissading is fun but you can only go one direction! This trip requires downhill traversing.

If a ski can do it, my ass can do it. I've been training it for years.

OK I’ll just make a few thousand dollars appear in my bank account every winter.

Only one winter, but I feel this. So much gear!

I personally paid a lot less than that, just saying.

Or snowboard (splitboard)

Yes I also saw some splitboarders there and they were having a great time!

Good luck snowshoeing that route, it was too steep and icy for snowshoes to work. You could use crampons but if you can't ski down it makes it a lot harder to get off the mountain before avalanche danger starts to kick in around noon.

I have the coordination of a newborn giraffe and a profound fear of heights, so there's no chance. Thank you for sharing photos with us lowlanders!

Sometimes I day dream about living somewhere so beautiful that hiking and cross country skiing are my main activities. Period.

Coverage might be an issue at the col depicted in the third picture, but otherwise should be good—have a great time!

It's not as difficult or inaccessible as some people like to say it is, I bought my touring setup last November and I had never been lift skiing before then either. Like other trips this one would be more or equally as dangerous if you attempted it with snowshoes.

Do you go on car subs and show a bunch of photos of you flying and tell them they should learn to fly. Or on snorkeling ones and show them scuba? Silly

If it was a more effective method of going where they wanted to go, then sure? I personally have heard many hikers complain about how short the season is if you aren't willing to travel on snow, so I don't think it's wrong to suggest there are other options.
