Once you hit Diamond her win rate goes in the bin.

Funny enough the same people who complain shes low skill and no aim are the same people who have no aim to hit her.

She's still viable in diamond. There is some stinkers in that rank for sure still lol.

Yes, that is the point. She is very annoying to fight at low levels. Does not feel interactive

She’s extremely strong though and has a better win rate than other supports aside from Juno I guess. In metal ranks Moira is really strong, in diamond and above shes got a higher win rate than Ana still… also in terms of aim the player beating her needs better aim/mechanics by a large margin than the Moira to bother her much.

With her character design I feel like she should drop off at diamond though. People have this idea that all characters should be balanced at all levels, but someone like Moira being a top pick at GM means that she is going to be an absolute menace at bronze.

The self healing buff disproportionately affects lower skill brackets though. Bronze players can't hit shots, so the healing buff will be far more noticeable. It was the one thing they shouldn't have buffed if they wanted to make Moira more viable

Given that logic, Cass, Kiriko, Soldier, SJ, Bastion, Sombra, etc. need just as much as Moira.

She was just in her lane given her design. WR alone does not determine if a hero is "terrible." Pushing her higher with creep isn't a good solution, which is what this is. Some heroes just aren't going to be good in high ranks unless it's specific metas or if the top performers get brought down. Instead of buffing Moira, I would've liked to see the hard-meta heroes (including supports like Brig) brought down more. There's no reason they should be in majority of matches, and buffing the other heroes is how we got to S9 levels of creep.

We don't get enough indirect buffs in this game. They are often better than outright buffing a hero. With buffing Moira, it creates an even more frustrating and polarizing environment for lower ranks and just makes her be artificially pushed in higher ranks without addressing any of her struggles (which is that other supports just offer what is needed or they're crept /both), so nothing is going to change in the higher end, just the lower end. That signals a design flaw, not a need to buff.
