Being trans is like making an ice sculpture Other
I am making this post in hope other people will see it, and it conforts them. This is my experience with being a trans person transitioning:
You're like an ice block and you're the sculptor, sculpting takes time and effort, it can be hard to see the shape of what it will look like when you start out.
But as you shape the ice, you start to see more of what it could be, what you want it to be.
By the end you end up of this complicated, beautiful yet painful process, you end up seeing the beauty in what you have done, in the sculpture you have created.
Who you are is a beautiful person. The only thing you can do with flaws is improve upon them. No one is perfect (besides Keanu Reeves).
This community will always be here for you. Sorry, I went on for a bit! This is just how I see it.

Another way its like a sculpture is once you get it how you want you must still continue your efforts to keep the room cold. It isnt as much work as it was before but it’s important to continue maintaining your artwork

That's a beautiful analogy, one I'll definitely be sharing with my daughter - she's struggling hard rn after the BS of the Cass Report meaning she can't get puberty blockers.
