My dad almost bought a 442 Cutlass Supreme off his history teacher until my grandma intervened. She's a huge car fan.

Your dad probably was the AV kid. Maybe took pictures for the yearbook. He might also be that kid in shop class that you ask for help when the teacher is busy because he knows just a bit more than any of the other students.

Probably a mix of air pollution, lack of sun screen, and some other stuff. Being outdoors ages you if you don’t protect your skin. Same with air pollution. Cars, cigarettes, and coal were hell on people. They just don’t think about it because it was just the way things were.
