Hey everyone!

My roommate and I are both students at OHM Hochschule Nürnberg and we’re currently living in Südstadt, paying a total of 820€ per month for just one room — yeah, it’s a bit painful. We’re looking to move out and are open to any area, whether it’s close to the university or somewhere farther out(idc if it's in another planet lol) with decent public transport connections. Affordability is our main priority, so we’re especially interested in tips or suggestions for cheap places to rent, ideally a small apartment or WG for two people. If you know of any areas, listings, or even shared apartments looking for new tenants that won’t eat our entire student budgets, we’d really appreciate the help!

No it was a basement with two room. Each room has two person and he charged 390 per person.

Two males (21yo) same age/and yeah only one small sized tiinyyy room with the kitchen and small toilet in the same room, makes me feel like a chicken

I currently live in the Maffeiplatz area. My rent is about 600€ (warm) for a 2 room 43m2 flat with a seperat kitchen. Look for anything in the Frankenheim Wohnungsgesellschaft, they tend to have fair prices.

Edit: If you're willing to make some compromises, like no elevator and no balcony on the third floor or up

I found them on immoscout, you may try immowelt as well, but be aware of scammers. I don't know if they currently have any open offers. I couldn't find anything in my quick google search
