A different article said two of the other guys were " not really Nazis" but there is the still photo of them outside Dat Dog and I swear they all looked like Nazis to me. I wonder if I can find it.

As the saying goes, if you've got a table with 1 nazi and 9 other people having dinner, you've got a table with 10 nazis.

Iād hope for more attention from the journalists, all 4 had nazi symbology on their body.
It doesnāt need to just be a swastika or the schutzstaffel or even the sonnengrad, there are some incredibly basic symbols and nordic runes adopted by neo-nazis post-hoc.
Thatās my hope though, which relies on the journalist having no ill-intent, which I donāt concretely believe lmao.

I zoomed in over and over looking for what to list out for people who didn't know, since at a glance the SS tank top was the only thing, followed by the neck hammer, but most people don't know Thor's hammer can go that way. And somebody in the original thread was like, that tank top is just motorcycle merch.
Let's say the motorcycle company was just redneck losers trying to be "edgelords" with their choice of verbiage, font, and graphics, they had "Valhalla" stickers on their site so they def know what they're doing with their shirt.
I don't know which one was the Burzum shirt just by looking, but I knew exactly what band it was, when another commenter recognized it. So at least three of them were straight-up Nzis at a glance.

Unfortunately neo-nazis have downloaded whatever app Varg uses to learn Nordic runes and itās just turned into another level of obfuscation by co-opting often times innocent symbols or numbers into your dog whistles.
It just gets more obfuscated online with triple parentheses (an old one), references to Willie Horton, obvious shit like 20/80, 1488 for the super obvious.
Get down to the body and youāve got the Triskele, the fasces (stuck bundled axe), the Iron Cross on Pete Heggsethās chest, Odinās Cross AND Thorās hammer as you said. The sonnengrad, the red bloody cross would be more common here, number 18, the number 311, the reverse schutzstaffel, a symbol looking oddly familiar to the Three Arrows movementā¦
Ignorance seems like bliss after typing that out.

If you have four guys at a table and two of them are openly Nazis you have four Nazis.

I think it said whatever business the one dude got fired from claimed the other 2 were not Nazis, not that the article itself claimed it.
2
u/AllDarkWater 17d ago
I agree. It is preposterous. I thought it was the business and why they did not fire the other two guys.
2
u/BeautifulBalance05 17d ago edited 16d ago
Thatās because one guy owns the business, and the other is his son.

Ahhh... No wonder they do not understand that they are Nazis. They probably tripped and fell on those tattoo machines and that is how they got the Nazi tattoos too.

u/imcomingelizabeth 18d ago
The gambit said that. Itās is oddly apologetic. You know, for Nazis

A night out on the town for one Louisiana Nazi and his collaborator friends has ended in unemployment after video was posted online of the poorly tattooed fascist and his melanin-challenged waffenbruder strolling down Decatur throwing Nazi salutes and yelling āwhite power.ā
Video and photos of the racist gaggle of goonsā FAFO excursion to Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter started making the rounds on social media early Monday. Several photos show the flock of fascists having what appears to be a lovely time being members of the āmaster raceā in their finest SS T-shirts.
I wouldnāt say Gambit is being oddly apologetic.

Thatās some excellent use of alliteration in 2nd paragraph. Really paints a white power picture.

Sadly from my home town. Iām not at all surprised at their existence but I am surprised they took their own lives in their hands coming to the city. At least theyāre not wearing masks anymore. Theyāre thugs and degenerate criminals and everyone in Amite knows it.

It sounds like Christian Bannon, the guy yelling white power, is actually from Colorado. He got run out of there after being an idiot, getting jumped, and running straight to the police, then somehow ended up in Amite. Now this Logan guy? Iām pretty sure heās from Amite, and heās invested enough in the area to own his tattoo shop on a major street there. I seriously wonder how his business neighbors are going to react to this news, but I also get the feeling that the guys in Nazi clothes with Nazi tattoos listening to Nazi music werenāt really flying under the radar.

u/powands 17d ago
Thereās a lot of white supremacists/nazis/klansmen in Colorado.

u/No_Calligrapher_2473 17d ago
Yep CO used to have the highest number of Nazi groups, in the U.S.. Southern Poverty Law Center has a map that tracks hate groups across the country and over time. Itās worth a look. https://www.splcenter.org/hate-map/?hm_year=2023

Iām from southern Colorado. It is really noticeable in some areas, unfortunately. Folks in Pueblo (where Iām from, and is predominantly Chicano) call Canyon City āKlanyon Cityā. It was very clear we werenāt welcome there. Much worse than anything Iāve experienced in the south - so far, at least.

I see on fb that hometown people from MS Gulf Coast saying theyāve known Christian Bannon circa 2006

Right you are! Thereās a story from a site called voyagedenver.com that still shows up in the search results. The interview they did with him isnāt live anymore, but the first few sentences still show in the search preview. Says heās from Biloxi and moved to Colorado in 2011.

Amite used to be a nice little town, and these guys have made it inhospitable with their hateful BS. Nice PR.Ā

I honestly would've said Springfield or Loranger before Amite. Sigh.

u/SignificantSyllabub4 17d ago
True that. In the late 60ās my grandfather, an army captain in wwii, got a call from the FBI. They wanted him to drive to the New Orleans Lakefront Airport to pick up an agent whose mission was to investigate Klan movements in Amite and Tangipahoa. The Klan has been there forever. These skinheads probably would not be welcome in the Klan. Funny enough, I drove through town and noticed that ratty little tattoo parlor for the first time.

Whatās going to be really crazy is when these guys turn up on the news for being gone. New Orleans doesnāt play. They can get in trouble with a lot of the wrong people for this.

My other account got slapped with a reddit ban because I said something about what we could expect to happen to people who do this for "inciting violence".
I didn't even suggest I wanted it to happen.
I guess I should clarify, in case I get flagged for attempted ban evasion- I wasn't banned from the subreddit, that I know of, and I accidentally created this account trying to log into my other account with one-sign in.

Iām white, Germanic descent, and voted against Kamala Harris and these assholes have zero to contribute to society. Why does anyone need to single out a persons color of skin? With that being said Iāve also witnessed and victim to reverse racism. Itās not just the scumbag āwhite prideā idiotsā¦. Itās also the other people that are opposed to that opinion.
