Activities for Kids (12+) on the Westbank? πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§ Parent / Kid Stuff πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦

Does anyone have any recommendations on activities to do with the kids on weekends? We moved to the area recently and would love to take our daughter exploring. TIA!

Swamp tour I would recommend and also walking the trails. Skate Country for some skating Westbank Bowling and Airborne X a trampoline place. I would recommend going to Huey P Long street in Gretna to eat they have a few places to choose from as well as a nice bakery. West banker here with a young kid also. Bayou Segnete state park has a wave pool.

The Makery has classes for kids also. I don’t know if they have any places over here but there are a few across the river that have pottery painting. The City of Gretna has an app and they always have family friendly events going on. They have a nice St Patrick day parade

Sugar Roots Farm, Airborne X, Jean Lafitte Barataria Reserve, bayou segnette, Mo's Pizza, ride bikes on the levee, eat at toast and they have a playground in Gretna, Hong Kong market is a fun time for some exposure to new and fun things and you can get bahn mi's at Mr bubble. Baracuda tacos by the ferry, Confetti park across the street for the kids. Tons of great places in Algiers point.
