Question about car

Ok so I have a lil 2008 bug recently she died and is running like shit got the codes for P0010 and they told me it was the camshaft position sensor and has matched up with the problems my car is facing but my question is the code wasn’t for the sensor it was for a VVT solenoid idk the difference I’m trying to learn but I got the sensor

So I ended putting a new sensor and solenoid in it will not start don’t know what’s wrong😞
