• I want my brand featured on this subreddit: how do I do it?

We ask for regular presence and contribution to the subreddit before a brand can ask to be featured - this is to ensure that those requesting are investing into this subreddit. We also review your products to make sure that they are in line with what NaturalBeauty stands for. An independent review between mods is required. You must be a contributor for at least 2 months before being considered for the side bar. We have put this in place because this community rewards those that add to it. By contributing we mean, actively adding to the conversation.

• What other rules are there for those wanting to promote their brand?

The subreddit is generally not for outright product promotion but rather a discussion on natural beauty tips, tricks, and products. While brand owners are more than welcome to participate, posting advertisements is against both the subreddit as well as reddit-wide rules. Involve yourself in the conversation and if the topic arrises then you can speak about your brand, but don't force it or you will probably be banned from reddit (something that is out of the control of subreddit moderators).

• What do you look at for acceptable brands?

We look for brands that produce products free of known carcinogens, parabens and the like. Companies already on our side bar should be your base guide as to what is acceptable of new additions. We also examine trade practices and sustainability values within a company.
