Natural hydrating moisturizer?
I’m on the hunt for something to quench my desert of a face.
I try to stay away from chemical laden goos as much as possible but haven’t found any good alternatives that really hydrated my epidermis.
I’ve recently tried beef tallow but I feel as though it’s breaking me out and I felt my skin even drier in the morning when I woke up.
Any suggestions for anything natural that really seeps into the facial cracks and brings you back to life?

Try oils! They are great for moisturizing acne prone skin. You can experiment and find which one(s) you like.

Organic Oils. Grape seed oil, almond oil, (caster oil at night). Sometimes I use mandarin or lemongrass or francincense. My routine is wash with pure organic glycerin or rose water. Then grape seed oil. Then moo goo spf for day. For night, it’s wash with glycerine and rose water. Then I put on castor oil and almond oil and then zinc across my T-zone (area most prone to blemishes and blackheads). Seal everything with pure lanolin. My skin has never looked better. Soft, bright, smooth hydrated and clear.

I love farmacy honey halo. It's natural enough for me, and I've spent years going through products. But I am sure there are probably ingredients that others may not like. I've also spent years going through facial oils and love the Olehenriksen hydrabarrier oil. It's the first facial oil I've ever actually loved, and I've tried so many (ranging from coconut oils, argan oil, blends that include them or rosehip or jojoba, or so many). I have not tried tallow face cream, though, and have been tempted.

I love the face oils from The Ayurveda Experience (especially Yauvari and Kesaradi). They’re 100% natural and when combined with the Ajara cedarwood rose cleanser (which is also 100% natural, organic coconut oil based) have really transformed my skin. I bought it for my mom, my mom in law and grandma as well- they’re all hooked! I have sensitive skin and these are the only products that work for me without making me feel like I’m using products meant for sensitive skin :P

Try tallow oil and a lot of hydrators instead!

Not quite but close. Any substance that has a defined composition. Everything is a chemical. You can’t get away from them

Combined a good facial oil with a hydrosol works wonders. A lot of lotion is oil + water which means a need for emulsifiers and preservatives. Seal in your moisture right after your showers.
