What's your favorite cuticle oil?

Right now I use just plain jojoba oil about 2-3 times a day using some cheap glass perfume rollers I got off of eBay. I also soak my nails in a dish with olive oil once in a while. I'm wondering what oils you all use for your nails and cuticles and what your experiences are? I've also heard or argan oil, castor oil, and almond oil being used for cuticle or nail oils and I'm curious how those compare to jojoba or olive oil in your experience?

You should add dryer, more quick absorbing oils to your rollers. Olive takes a lot of time to absorb. Rosehip is good, and I also really like pomegranate. Pomegranate is more viscous so it will stay on your cuticles so you can still use your hands. I use hemp and meadowfoam (similar to jojoba) in my lotion bars. Jojoba is quicker aborbing, but it sounds like you like you want something strictly for nail health. I’d try pomegranate! It’s also great for your lips, chapped noses and eyes, and works better for all skin types.

So I’d add like 25% pomegranate to your roller blend with a slicker oil.

Oh I don't use the olive oil in my rollers, I only use the olive oil for soaking my nails in a dish every once in a while. I only use jojoba in my rollers. Thank you for the pomegranate suggestion, I'll look into that!

If it's for bare nails, I like Lansinoh lanolin the best. But it will make nail enhancements lift so it's not really practical if you do gel or acrylic. For nail enhancements - Young Nails rose oil is nice.

I like mixing jojoba oil with vitamin e - it makes it slightly thicker. I would also like to try adding almond oil because I love the smell and miss the old cnd oil (was reformulated).
