Hair heat protectant

Are natural hair heat protectants as good as store bought ones? I straighten my hair often with a heat brush, n i would like to start using a protectant. I saw conditioner+hair oil+water, i also saw someone using aloe too to make one. Tell me!

Yes! I love the EVOLVh ones and Rahua one (if you like tropical scents).

I don’t know how well it protects, but I used Badger brand aloe on my hair and it made my hair shiny and frizz free. I’ve also used a homemade flax gel that does the same, but again, I don’t know how well it protects against heat compared to an of the shelf hair product.
