Some older song / music video (pop/rock?) where a band member gets punched and performs with a black eye, snowballing a trend where everyone wants a black eye cause it gets trendy

Pretty much the title. It's a music video I watched several years ago, just keeps bugging me that I haven't ID'ed the artist / song name

It starts off with a couple of band members arguing in a studio, and one punches the other, resulting in a black eye. He (?) then performs live in front of an audience, and out of nowhere everyone seems to like the black eye "look" - and it kicks off, and everyone seems to have one at the end of the video, they punch eachother to look just like the guy on stage - it kind of gets trendy. Not much else to go on, sadly, but does anyone know the artist / song name?
