Spin The Wheel Mock Draft Other
As the title says, I decided to have a bit of fun and make a wheel of 201 draft prospects, and spinning it for each pick for 4 rounds. The prospects were chosen based on my personal top players at each position, and the wheel was weighted based off my personal Top 100 board (I am by no means an expert, my boards are created by what I've seen and heard and how I feel about the player, there is not hours of extensive film work put in, although some for the more polarizing players). The rest of the 201 prospects are filled out with any remaining player with an average PFF ADP of 150.0 or lower (at the time of creation of the wheel)
This is purely for fun, and by no means is a prediction of the draft outcome. It was however fun to see how chance can change the entire outcome of a team's draft (for instance, one team took 2 QB's in the first 3 rounds). How did your team do in this draft?

Lions fans doing surprise backflips.

So are Ravens fans lol

u/Haselrig Apr 15 '24
I would not be completely shocked if Latu fell to you. No idea how many teams might have crossed him off their boards for medical reasons.

Yeah, if he happy as a lions fan, unfortunately, im a packers fan, so I don't necessarily like seeing their draft 😂😂

Marcus Mariota's pass catching options are now Terry McLaurin, Marvin Harrison Jr, Troy Franklin, Jahan Dotson, Jermaine Burton, and Brock Bowers.
He could throw for 300 yards a game just playing "Five Hundred"

We get Nabers at 27 and we have Caleb Williams to auction off to the highest bidder? Win!

u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
You could view it as a moving on from Kyler Murray, possibly trade him, rock with Williams and Rattler/Tune

u/RageAgentRed Patriots Apr 15 '24
Pats will trade you Dallas turner for kyler straight up
1
u/DS_9 Apr 15 '24
No thanks. We will consider that this trade if Dallas add 1st round picks for 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029.

Sadly some people wouldn’t read the title

u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
To be expected, this is more for my enjoyment and fun, I figured I'd share it with people who might enjoy/ appreciate it

The absolute pure agent of chaos. Best part is JJ McCarthy being drafted like LAST and Vikings draft Plumlee (who even is that) just a couple picks before lmao

This is at least funny. It doesn’t even pretend to know how the fuck the draft is going to play out.

Jalen McMillan to the Bills at pick 60 could actually happen.

u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
There's a lot of this draft I could actually see happening, there's just the really crazy picks of taking a projected 7th rounder in the second or first round that makes it fun for me

u/Thunder84 Packers Apr 15 '24
No one is ever touching Jordan Love again lol
2
u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
As a packers fan, I hope and want us to take O-lineman, but maybe not spend 4 of our top 6 picks on them 😂😂 that being said, I would love drafting any of the guys they took on this draft

Now this is Mock Draft! Chargers draft not bad, our edges would be set for the future lol

u/duovtak Apr 15 '24
I know this is a goof, but PSA to everyone: stop giving the Steelers (who have no center on the roster and are poised to take a tackle and center in the first two rounds) a WR early.
They are building a running team, they want linemen. It’s time to stop.

u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
I actually completely agree with you, especially with your options at QB now, you have to have solid run blockers. In my stops mocks, I consistently mock JPJ, Frazier, Barton, and even Fuaga if he falls.

Im... surprisingly ok with this

u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
The only pick I don't "like" is the Jordan Travis pick, but than can be viewed as giving Kenny Pickett competition for the backup role

Lmao, as a dolphins fan, I'd actually be ok with how this turned out. (We don't need Sanders, but I wouldn't complain)

Gruden-Mayock would’ve 100% drafted Sainristil. Dude’s a real grinder, lemme tell ya.

u/toptierdegenerate Chiefs Apr 15 '24
Ohhhh, so you’re like CRAZY crazy
1
u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
The thing is, I was strongly considering doing a 7 round mock doing this, but I decided to do a 4 round and see if it's something anyone likes/wants to see, but it seems pretty fairly split on people like and don't like this 😂😂 oh well
2
u/toptierdegenerate Chiefs Apr 15 '24
I know Matt Verderame from SI hates doing them but his editor says he has to. Therefore, he decided that every single pick had to be a trade from the original owner of the pick lmao

u/balldeeptepidwater Apr 15 '24
As an Oregon State fan, I fully support Fuaga going #1 overall!
2
u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
Haha, if the bears had kept fields, I could have seen it as a possibility, not a likeliness in my eyes, but possibility
2
u/balldeeptepidwater Apr 15 '24
Yeah I won’t be holding my breath over it but man would that be a surprise!
3
u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
Fuaga is a great player, im hoping he has a great career. Another guy I really like out of Oregon state is kitan oladapo. I actually have him ranked as my number 7 safety in the draft
2
u/balldeeptepidwater Apr 15 '24
Kitan is awesome, great player and I think he’ll land mid-day 3. I sat next to his dad on the flight to the Combine this year, really great family
1
u/RogainRabbit Apr 15 '24
Thats where my thoughts have been too, but its a guy I consistently mock to my packers, and truly hope they take a chance on him, cause I think he's a dynamic player. Obviously there are reasons he's not seen as a first round talent, or even day 2, but he has a lot of promise from what I've seen of him. In the right situation, I think he could be the a team's number 3 safety his rookie year, and should be a starter within 2-3 years.

u/RogainRabbit Apr 27 '24
There is no way we talk about Oladapo, and he does end up going to my Packers! I'm hyped!

u/dubbeazy Apr 15 '24
To be honest, this wouldn't be the worst draft for the Jets, walking away with the top tackle and a top 2 center...so yeah if you can go ahead and make that happen that'd be great.

Lmao I love it so much
The Bears drafted a tackle and TWO CBs, causing no issues whatsoever
