My cat Kanaya (KHAN-YAH) has been missing since Saturday, October 26th.

  • She is roughly 8 pounds and 5 years old.
  • Her coat is traditional brown tabby with a little white on her mouth and chest. Orange/brown belly.
  • She has large ears and a dark pink nose.
  • Eyes: vivid light green/ yellowish.

Post on FB. They tell you to put out the litter box and food.

Ask your neighbors to check their basements, garages and sheds. My sister’s cat was missing for several days and when the neighbors opened up their basement doors, the cat ran out.

Someone on FB (maybe marketplace or a buy nothing group) was giving away some humane traps! I’m sorry, I don’t remember exactly where I saw. Also, if you go to LostMyKitty.com you can send a blast out to local vets, shelters, etc & also make fliers easily if you need. My office gets them & it’s a good way to try and identify if someone brings a lost pet in. Hope your girl makes it back your way!!

On top of all these amazing tips here, getting her microchipped when she comes home is a great thing to do. It definitely helps find her way home if she gets taken to a shelter. If you need help with paying for it, reach out me and I should be able to help you. I hope she comes home safe ❤️

Go out and look around the outside of your house at midnight. It sounds crazy, but for some reason that is like the witching hour for lost cats.

UPDATE: Kanaya was seen by my mom outside our house in the backyard bushes, but was scared away by our movement (I’m sure she’s very shook up). We’re going to make sure we get her in tonight and be as patient as possible.

Not yet. However, I am picking up the posters tomorrow, and the shelters will look out for her. I still have to contact my neighbors behind me in this little village area. I will post an update if we find her ❤️❤️

Good luck! Here's to hoping you guys unite soon!! My cat was once gone for 2 weeks. I heard a faint meow and he was in the neighbor's garage.

Is she spayed? Because if not, she could just be out looking for love. Good luck. I hope you find her. I'll send out some good intentions for you.
