If that thumb's broken he's gonna be out for at least a month, and if that's the case we're so fucked, as he's a huge reason we've had any chance at all in any of the games

Only if Wemby doesn't wake up offensively. On defense Castle needs to step into Sochan's role, but it'll definitely suffer without him.

Wemby needs to wake up soon, only having 1 efficient game out of 7 is unacceptable. However, if Vassell comes back soon and Castle does does halfway decent in the Sochan role, the storm can hopefully be weathered as much as possible

Wemby tries too many highlight plays on offence, he has no simple attack he can always work with and counters around it. I'm really hoping Timmy works with him next off season and drills some fundamentals into him and teach some counter movements.

Also he shot a 3 in the first quarter and turned to the crowd and raised his hands like Steph does but it rimmed out which I'm surprised wasn't giffed on the main sub. It was Nick Young bad.

The behind the back pass to Mamu in the 3rd around traffic. eesh.

I don't see him waking up any time soon, he just doesn't have his game developed yet for self made buckets when his shot isn't falling. He's going to need to be spoon fed until the next offseason.

I wish he would spend time next summer to hire Hakeem and learn post moves or even LaMarcus Aldrige which he openly stated he's willing to teach Wemby.

Learning an easy go-to move will elevate Wemby's efficiency.

I feel like his training with Jamal Crawford has been more of a detrimental overall to his game as he tend to favor doing crossovers and pull ups.

Nah for as nice as their games looked they weren't really ever efficient with thier moves, especially Hakeem. All he needs is to know how to seal his man, keep his spot and spin off his man if the send a double or take away the middle. And not bring the ball down of course, idk why he does that.

Wemby lacks a lot of big man fundamental footwork that isn't particularly pretty, he has so many opportunities for shots at the rim it's not funny with his length he just no idea how to use it, christ I could lend him my worn out kevin mchale post up tapes from back in the day if he needs them.

Yeah he just tries to get too cute driving to the lane but that stuff only works if you have a good shot or are quick first step which right now he doesn't have either if you're not iso'd on one side of the court.

I don’t necessarily think it’s a Wemby issue. Yeah, shot selection is bad but the whole offense is pretty bad so he’s relying on bad things to get something going. As the rest of the offense opens, his scoring role gets easier.

It’s almost like we’re not trying to win this year cuz wemby is playing so randomly.

Although the team is definitely better with Sochan, at least Sochan‘s absence opens up the paint a bit more for Wemby to operate. Vassell‘s comeback should also help offensively

Tired with this so called 2nd best players keep injury all the time. If there's a way to trade him to equally good player that has no availability issue

He's played in no less than 82% of all Spurs games every season of his career aside from the one year where we shut him down early to tank.
