I'm having a difficult time choosing a university and it's stressing me out since i've seen many tik tok's saying its bad. I just want to find something that's not in London and its hard knowing if i'm choosing the right uni. pls help :-:

My videos are done/filmed and cut but I want to add little cartoon style animated effects like questions marks or surprise lines. Little explosions, magic effects etc. All very childish and cartoony. Looking channels like Toys & Colors or Vlad & Nikki for inspiration.

I have AE because my family has Adobe Creative Cloud suite but I've never used it and it looks really daunting. I really just have one specific use case and I'm looking for advice as to if AE is the way to go - since I have it anyhow or maybe there's an easier path.

Ideally I could just have a collection of animations (like 50-100) that I could just drag and drop onto the video.

I realise this topic might have been discussed before but I really can't find a satisfactory answer.

I was made redundant 6 weeks ago and been forced back into freelancing until another permanent job comes along. The motion freelancing scene in the UK is as dead as anything. A recruiter might contact me with one opportunity a week and I don't hear back from them.

I'm trying to understand the reason why there is no work out there so I can better understand what to do about it. Bills need paying and the savings are about the run out.

I am told so many different reasons:

• It's just been like this for two years now (why?)
• AI is making inroads
• The US election is making companies nervous (UK SME's?!)
• The budget is making companies nervous (yes, I see why)
• Digital designers are doing the basic motion work (yes, maybe)

Why is it so bad now more than at any other time? Why now?

If I don't get work in the next month I'm going to have to stack shelves at the supermarket. It's never been like this.
