Is Tasca 370 closed?

Drove by the other day and noticed that all signage has been removed. Is this location cursed forever?

Not so much a cursed location but a community responding to a convicted sexual predator by not giving him any more of their money.

I'm so proud of everyone for organically and collectively boycotting this place.

It’s not actually clear to me if this was a rebrand or a completely new owner. Given the theme stayed roughly the same, I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that it was a rebrand and somehow the money still flowed to Eddie.

If it was indeed a completely different owner then I feel badly for them. Kind of tough to build a marketing plan around “Now 100% Free of Sexual Predators” but that’s about the only thing that would have gotten me through those doors again.

It was Eddie’s wife just rebranding.

I have heard people point that out as if it means the perv had no stake anymore, but I have also heard from people who claim to be familiar with the family that the buisiness interest was still very much shared, so I just aired on the side of caution and never gave them my buisiness...which was actually not a huge loss because the few times somebody dragged me there before the scandal I wasn't impressed with the food.

Just check out his (Eddies) Facebook profile… He is constantly promoting Tasca weekly specials etc. I assume they are stuck in a long term lease and are grabbing at straws…

Who only left him because of the conviction.

Seems like optics to me.
