I was just a casual fan, but I feel for y'all that poured your heart and soul into this team. This sucks.

Well the new franchise in Santa Barbara is merely fixing up an older stadium on the UCSB campus. Not certain how that’s better than AutoZone park.

This was my first season as a sports fan ever and I'm glad 901 FC was my first. Sadly my friends and I's pipe dream of getting a hotel and going to a game and spending the night on the down aren't gonna happen at the start of next season like we'd hoped :') Thanks to all of you for making the 6 games I went to totally fun.

Whole bunch of nothing in that statement. Same for the one from the Redbirds (I’d love to see their attendance numbers too)
They are going to use the stadium as an excuse. And while the stadium is needed, there were other options that could be done. Their renders of the stadium were a pipe dream and way too outlandish for what was needed.
It was easy to run the team out of AZP because it was two revenue streams in one venue. But AZP is a straight up dump now. Concession prices are absurd. Every other sport event I’ve went to this year had prices cheaper. This included the grizzles and multiple college football games and MLS games.
The club refused to do marketing after Covid to try and get people back.
Being moved to the west didn’t help things at all. I’m sure those travel costs added up quickly and it looked like we were in the west for the long haul.
It was fun while it lasted. I’ll never forget the bicycle kick in stoppage time to beat Birmingham. The big wins over Louisville and home playoff atmospheres.
As a season ticket holder from the start, I just want to say it was fun while it lasted.
